Unnerving, breathtaking, thrilling.

The Hunting Party focuses on a group of 9 old friends, who rent a remote lodge in the Scottish Highlands for New Year. The complex dynamics of their friendship are put to the test, when one of them ends up murdered. Pulling into the light, the hidden lives they have been leading.

It’s hard to believe this is Foley’s debut crime novel, the rising tension and complex characters she created and delivered worked effortlessly. The isolation and exposure of the Scottish highlands worked so well, it keeps you guessing until the very end. Gripping.

It’s not the usual genre of book I would pick up but I really enjoyed it. It made me want to venture up to Scotland again. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
