The sequel you never knew you needed. 🌻
We catch up with Holly six years after losing Gerry, with a new man, Gabriel. Working at her sister Ciara’s vintage shop and getting on with her life. After talking about Gerry’s letters on a podcast, she is approached by a group of terminally ill people who have started calling themselves the “P.S I Love You” club and require Holly’s help. Can she separate the resurfacing past from her life now?
It must be incredibly hard to write a follow up to a book that rose to incredible heights, inspired so many and was made into a cult romance film, watched all over the world. But Ahern has done it, and honestly it is so much more than I could have hoped for! It brings in a whole new element of emotion, hope and satisfaction for helping others achieve their last wishes but also immense sadness.
The ending made my heart ache, but also felt like we had come full circle and completed the story. The only thing I could only slightly fault was that I wasn’t keen on her new man, but who can compare to Gerry really?! ❤️
If you loved P.S I Love You, you NEED to read this.
Oh and P.S, it’s being made into a sequel film! 😍
