|| A Court of Thorns and Roses || Sarah J Maas || Book Review 4⭐️||

I’ve finally finished reading ACOTAR for the first time, as part of a Tandem Readalong. I just want to say a big thank you to everyone’s input who took part and to @tandemcollectiveuk, @bloomsburypublishing and @therealsjmaas for the opportunity.

Classic, dark, intoxicating.

Feyre is hunting to survive, when she kills a wolf, but unfortunately for her it’s a magical wolf. As consequence for her actions, she is taken prisoner by a High Lord, amidst a growing darkness covering the lands. As her feelings for the lord grow, she realises she must fight to survive.

I’ve got to say fantasy is one of those genres that I love, but just don’t seem to pick up first. So ACOTAR....it is one of those books that has SO MUCH HYPE. I was worried it wouldn’t live up to it, but I’m happily surprised! It is obviously a slightly predictable story, but I loved every second. It’s one that I feel is gonna give me a book hangover for a few days to come. I can totally see why @bookish_lauren recommends this so much....I just wanna say that you were totally right. I’m hooked. ❤️

If anyone would like the prompts, I’m more than happy to send them across. I’ve created a highlight, to showcase the whole readalong, if you are interested to see my thoughts. ✌🏻
